The summer season opens on a rooftop in the heart of Yorkville - QRC and WRC, together, above the skyline. An open-air terrace lit end to end, the city glittering below, a guided wine tasting to start the night and a DJ to carry it past midnight. Formal dress, the whole Circle in one room, and Toronto laid out beneath you. The invitation is below.

    A Day at Woodbine

    Race day, done the way it should be. The Circle opens August trackside at Woodbine - a private reserved enclosure at the rail, thoroughbreds thundering past at full stride, a glass in hand and the Form in the other. Linen and sundresses, big hats encouraged, and the kind of afternoon that turns into an evening. Pick a horse, place your bet, and let the day run.

    Niagara Vineyard Escape

    The summer closes the only way it should - among the vines. A weekend escape through Niagara wine country, with private barrel-room tastings led by the winemakers themselves, long lunches under the canopy, and bottles you cannot buy anywhere else. Sun on the rows, the lake breeze off Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the Circle at the heart of it. The last great weekend of the season.
